General Requirements for UNILAG Recruitment 2025
These are the general requirements that every candidate must meet in order to be eligible for any of the advertised positions at the University of Lagos:-
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree and/or a Ph.D., depending on the position applied for.
- For Senior Lecturer roles, at least six (6) years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized university, research institute, or equivalent institution.
- For Lecturer I roles, a minimum of three (3) years relevant teaching and/or research experience.
- Recognized fellowship certificates such as FWACS (Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons), FNMC (Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College), and FWACP (Fellow of the West African College of Physicians) are acceptable, especially for academic positions in Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences under the College of Medicine.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- All applicants must be computer literate and ICT compliant.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an ICT proficiency test (CBT) before proceeding to the interview stage.
